- London: Thames21 New Year Clean-up: Isle of Dogs: "Join Thames21 as we clean-up the Isle of Dogs foreshore in East London. Helping to clean and green this notorious litter spot will be a great way to start the New Year, and help shift the pounds! All equipment provided. - Hampshire: Friends of Lavell's Lake Bird walk: Sunday 10th January 2010: "Walk: Lavell's Lake is rich in bird life, which is attracted to the reed beds, shallow scrapes and quiet surroundings. Two hides are available for viewing. On the second Sunday of every month join the Friends of Lavell's Lake for a walk around the Park. Time: 9am-12 noon. Cost: Members free, donation of £1 for non-members."
- London: London Wildlife Trust: Winter work day in the Frays Valley: Sunday 10th of Jan -Frays Valley LNR. 09:45 - 13:00: "Wrap up warm and join us to burn off some of those xmas calories! We will be working to keep the ditches and fens clear. You will be rewarded with lovely views of lakes, river, wet meadows and woodland, and perhaps some interesting wild fowl."

- Gloucestershire: Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust: Starlings over the Severn: The magnificent sight of starlings writing patterns in the sky before settling down to roost for the night. - Gwent: Wyeswood Common Reserve - Tree Planting Event: Sunday 17th January, 10am—3pm (latest arrival 2pm): "Would you like to help us establish new woodland habitat on Wyeswood Common (near the River Wye)? GWT in collaboration with the Woodland Trust need volunteers to help us plant 10,000 saplings and we're holding a Tree Planting Event to kick the work off. Trees to be supplied and a limited number of spades, so bring your own spade if you have one!"

- Gwent: The Changing Scenery of Magor Marsh: Leader: Paul Cawley. A guided tour around Magor Marsh with someone who knows the intimate workings of the site. This fascinating walk will unlock the secret world of Magor Marsh so that you, too, can recognise some of nature's signposts! The afternoon will begin with an informal chat inside followed by a walk around the reserve. This is a series of four courses showing the changes of the reserve from winter to spring allowing attendees to discover for themselves the flora and fauna of this wonderful site. - Devon: Exeter: Milling at Cricklepit: Flour has been milled at Cricklepit Mill, close to Exeter’s historic quayside, since the thirteenth century. Come and meet DWT’s volunteer millers as they stone grind wheat the traditional way in this beautifully restored watermill. "A 2-3 hour walk with Tony House taking in Tetbury Woods, the Iron Age Fort, continuing along Mells river to Fussells Iron Works. - London: River Brent Family Clean-up: 15 April 2010: "River Brent Family Clean-up: Join Thames21 to clean-up litter from the River Brent. This event will be suitable for all the family and will include nature observation and activities for children. - Herefordshire: Lugg Meadows: Guided Fritillary Walk: Saturday 17th April, 2010. 10am- 12 noon. In April, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust holds its Fritillary Guided Walk around its nature reserve, the Lugg Meadows.
- Warwickshire: Warwickshire Wildlife Trust: Reptile Surveying Workshop: Saturday 17th April, 2010: "This workshop is aimed at the non professional who is interested in helping us survey reptiles on our nature reserves. Learn more about the ecology and behaviour of Reptiles. The workshop will involve both an indoor ID session to help you improve your ID skills in the morning, and then an afternoon visit to a reptile site to see the animals in their natural environment."

- Herts & Middlesex: Training - Water Vole Surveying: "Would you like to get more involved in water vole surveying? If so, join us for our free survey training day at Rye Meads NR, near Hoddesdon. - Buckinghamshire: THE CHILTERN CHALK STREAMS: Date: Friday 16 April 2010, Time: 8-10pm, nr Beaconsfield, Bucks. Allen Beechey who works for the Chilterns Conservation Board as Chalk Stream Officer has been running the project for the last 3 years and will be talking about his work.

- Warwickshire: Rooting for Ratty: Water Vole Surveying Workshop [Full Day]. Friday May 7.
- Hampshire: Blackwater Path Walk: 8-9 May 2010: "Join this special weekend event on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May, which follows the route of the River Blackwater. On Saturday we will cover about 13 miles (21km) from Aldershot to Sandhurst and on Sunday the walk covers 10 miles (17km) from Sandhurst to Swallowfield."
- London: Wandle Trust: Wandsworth Cleanup: "A London 2012 Changing Places event organised in partnership with Thames 21, on the horribly-littered Ravensbury Terrace stretch of the river in Wandsworth."
- London: Canalway Cavalcade: Little Venice, London 1st-3rd May 2010: "Canalway Cavalcade is a major event organised by IWA each year since 1983. It takes place over the early May Bank Holiday weekend, and combines a boat rally with a trade show and a wide range of activities and entertainments, and claims the title of London's premier waterway event."
