PRESS RELEASE

Costain E.G.M 6th January haunted

by Newbury Bypass protestors

photo-opportunity

On Monday 6th January at the Costain Extraordinary General Meeting, Newbury bypass protestors/shareholders dressed as Cavaliers and Roundheads from the second battle of Newbury will be demonstrating that Costain is indeed haunted by the Newbury Bypass. This action follows revelations that Security Guards at Rickety Bridge, a battle ground on the route of the Newbury Bypass have seen Civil War Ghosts and have deployed a Councillor and Chaplain to exorcise the Ghosts.

Costain who are have had their shares suspended twice in the last six months are seeking new share capital and the restructuring of its shareholding. The pantomime cow, who played a prominent part in the Newbury Protests will also be present and use its two share certificates to enter the meeting.

A Third Battle Spookesperson said

"Costain are indeed haunted by the Newbury Bypass contract. There financial downfall is assured if they continue to build goal-carriageways" ENDS
